Due
to a technical fault, the last time I updated this site, the page wasn't
saved. This was a real shit time because I wasn't able to do it again
and I wasn't going to be able to do another update for quite some time
as of my AS level exams. Well anyway, yesterday [Friday 13th] I did my
last 2 papers, both History [Mussolini and Lenin]. They went ohkay and I
am pretty happy with most papers, with the possible exceptions of the
maths papers, but now they are all over and I don't have to use my brain
for anything remotely close to skool work, fun fun fun all the way! And
one bundle of fun released this Monday is The Blueprints BRAND NEW EP!
Yes you heard me, the band who I have supposed to have built a fansite
for a releasing a brand new site of 'juicy choons' for all of us
plebs to listen to. Any way the EP is called Ecliptic and will feature 6
songs, no separate interludes and was once again helmed by the master of
the knobs [of the control room of the studio] Mr Andy Sneap [yep he who
mixed the Killswitch Engage album and who also produced zero*zero*one].
The track listening reads like the following:
Elements of Refusal
This Ends Here
Hail of Splinters
Sans Chorus
International House of Dirt
Scorched Earth Policy
An mp3 of the final version of Sans Chorus was
posted on the official site and was pretty dam good if I do say so
myself. The EP has been named The PRP's release of the month, which is
nice, Kerrang! give the EP only 3 K!'s and again talked about earthtone9
and Pitchshifter forgetting about the Blueprint themselves.
The
band have also managed to record a session for XFM. The original session
had been postponed due to the studio catching fire just like that,
perhaps Pyro of the X-men dislike that particular radio station. Anyway
that session has not yet been broadcast to the best of knowledge and no
confirmed date has been given out. XFM are available on one of the Sky
Digital channels and via the internet.
The guys have also been doing a spot of touring
this past few weeks and shall continue to do it for a few more weeks.
All dates however are in mainland Britain, so it really doesn't concern
me yet, I am so dam selfish it's not true!
And to finish off in the next few days I am gonna
e-mail the guys with a clatter of questions regarding the new EP and
their future plans and whatever so look out for that within the next
week or two! And remember that you have to go out and buy the new disc
on Monday because I know it's gonna rock!
